The one plan
From Genesis to Revelation, God is doing one thing — bringing His people back into His presence, because He has placed inside them a Life worthy and powerful enough to make them at home there. That Life is a Person: Jesus Christ, who met everything a human will ever face, satisfied the holiness of God at the cross, and rose — and now lives His life in the believer.
Not imitation. Indwelling. “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
